1. Distributions include all distribution payments regardless of source and may include net income, capital gains, and/or return of capital (ROC). ROC should not be confused with yield or income. A Fund’s Section 19a-1 Notice, if applicable, contains additional distribution composition information and may be obtained by visiting Final determination of a distribution’s tax character will be made on Form 1099 DIV and sent to shareholders. On a tax basis, the estimated component of the cumulative distribution for the fiscal year to date would include an estimated return of capital of $0.0444 (38%) per share. This amount is an estimate and the actual amounts and sources for tax reporting purposes may change upon final determination of tax characteristics and may be subject to changes based on tax regulations. We anticipate the month-end distribution’s ROC will be similar to this amount.
2. Sector Allocations are subject to change at any time and should not be considered a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Portfolio holdings generally are made available thirty days after month-end by calling (877) DLine11. The source for the information in this report is DoubleLine Capital, which maintains its data on a trade date basis.
3. Leverage is based on a percentage of short-term borrowing in relation to the long-term investments of the Fund.

*Credit Distribution is determined from the highest available credit rating from any Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Agency (NRSRO”, generally S&P, Moody’s, or Fitch) and is subject to change. DoubleLine chooses to display credit ratings using S&P’s rating convention, although the rating itself might be sourced from another NRSRO. The firm evaluates a bond issuer’s financial strength, or its ability to pay a bond’s principal and interest in a timely fashion. The ratings apply to the credit worthiness of the issuers of the underlying securities and not to the fund itself. Ratings are expressed as letters ranging from ‘AAA’, which is the highest grade, to ‘D’, which is the lowest grade. In limited situations when the rating agency has not issued a formal rating, the rating agency will classify the security as unrated.

Investments involve risk; Principal loss is possible. Shares of closed-end investment companies frequently trade at a discount to their net asset value, which may increase investors’ risk of loss. This risk may be greater for investors expecting to sell their shares in a relatively short period after the completion of the public offering. There are risks associated with an investment in the Fund.

An investment in the Fund involves certain risks arising from, among other things, the Fund’s ability to invest without limit in debt securities that are at the time of investment rated below investment grade or unrated securities judged by DoubleLine to be of comparable quality (a category of investment that includes securities commonly referred to as “high yield” securities or “junk bonds”). High yield, lower-rated securities involve greater risk than higher-rated securities; portfolios that invest in them may be subject to greater levels of credit and liquidity risk than portfolios that do not. Leverage may cause a portfolio to liquidate positions when it may not be advantageous to do so to satisfy its obligations or to meet segregation requirements. Leverage, including borrowing, may cause a portfolio to be more volatile than if the portfolio had not been leveraged. The Fund invests in foreign securities which involve greater volatility and political, economic and currency risks and differences in accounting methods. These risks are greater for investments in emerging markets. An investment in the Fund may not be appropriate for all investors and is not designed to be a complete investment program. No assurance can be given that the Fund’s investment objective will be achieved. Before buying any of the Fund’s Common Shares, you should read the discussion of the principal risks of investing in the Fund.
