Bonnie Baha, CFA, CIC, Director, Global Developed Credit
Bonnie was part of the DoubleLine family from 1990 to 2016. She was a founding partner and pillar of the firm. She was a mentor to her team and a well-respected credit analyst in the industry. She will be greatly missed.
Bonnie Baha heads the Global Developed Credit Group as the lead portfolio manager at DoubleLine. Her team manages the firm's investments in fixed and floating rate corporate and sovereign securities issued within developed market economies. Prior to DoubleLine, Ms. Baha was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager overseeing the corporate bond investments at TCW for 19 years. Previously, she worked for Deloitte & Touche, where she was a manager and specialized in the valuation of publicly traded and privately held companies in a variety of industries. Prior to that, she was employed as a Senior Analyst with Standard Research Consultants, a former division of Standard & Poor's Corporation. Prior to her graduate studies, she worked at Kidder, Peabody & Co. where she was responsible for the regional distribution of new issues and secondary offerings of corporate debt and equity securities. Ms. Baha received her BA in Political Science from the University of California at Irvine and her MBA from the University of Southern California. She is a CFA charterholder and a Chartered Investment Counselor. In 2016, Ms. Baha was recognized as one of the “Top Women in Asset Management” by Money Management Executive. Ms. Baha has been widely quoted by news and financial media, including Barron’s, Bloomberg News and Television, CNBC, the Financial Times, Reuters, The New York Times, USA Today and The Wall Street Journal. She has contributed guest columns to American Banker and Pensions & Investments magazines. She writes a periodic column for Forbes magazine.
